Composting toiletsWill Firstbrook WCB of BC wfirstbr at msmail.wcb.bc.caMon Jun 16 14:42:34 PDT 1997
Hi Tim, You could try Earthship Volume 2 by Michael Renolds. They have designs you can re-produce, basicly solar burning and/or composting toilet. Both have a bench seat when opened the fan comes on to make the toilet odorless. Both I believe have a tumbler to stir the waste the solar one is built next to the south wall of the structure. The sun heats/burns the waste. If there is a lack of sun the solar toilet acts like the composting toilet. For both toilets you need to use an outside wall for for easy cleanout access. Good luck in your quest.
