Cob Chimney?

A chimney built here in New Zealand in recent years was made of adobe. It
had serious erosion problems which they tried to fix with coatings. The
short answer is, use someting else, Like brick , stone or concrete, at
least for the exposed part. I can't think of any histroic cob buildings
with exposed cob chimneys. They knew better than to push their luck that far.
