Howard and Katey,

I can't think of a report on the NBC that's been written. There is a NBC
list serve group now. I'll paste below instructions for joining from
Shannon Dealy

>Rob,
>would love to hear a report on the Oregon NBC when available. Katey and I

I may be slow, but I do occasionally get something done :-) (actually,
I've been trying to get some building done while the weather holds).
Anyway, the Natural Building Colloquium list is now ready, though there
are a few things we should discuss about the operation of the list once
everyone is on-line (particularly list membership issues).
I decided not to automatically subscribe everyone to the list, so
anyone wishing to join will need to send an email to "majordomo at deatech.com"
with the following line in the body (NOT SUBJECT) of the message:
    subscribe nbcolloq
Since this is a closed list, I will have to manually approve everyone
joining the list. Because of this, I am planning on waiting a few days to
give everyone time to subscribe and then approving all of them at once, at
which time you will receive the usual message on how to use the list.
This will prevent the problem of the first couple messages sent
to the list only being received by the first couple of subscribers.
The list has also been integrated into my web site to allow searching and
browsing the archives. The primary page for the Natural Building
Colloquium on my site will be:
   http://www.deatech.com/nbcolloq/
There is currently a minimal page here which just points to the mailing
list web page.
