In climates where prolonged extreme temperatures occur, it will usually be desirable to insulate the exterior of the building as cob makes a poor insulator. Even if you choose not to use cob for the exterior of the building, cob is very useful for interior work: floors, interior walls, benches, etc. Shannon C.
