Cob: price-timber frame

have found a person near Austin, tx that builds cedar cabins.

i only wanted the skeleton ( which is timber-frame ) with which i could
  "infill" w/ my cob.

he thinks it should run $20 sq.ft.
does that sound reasonable???  

i really have no experience to go on, to judge... thought i'd see if 
anyone had any opinions.
