Dear Cheryl, et al, The simplest way to bend copper or conduit tubing is to fill it with sand first, This prevents it from collapsing when bending. Then just bend it around a 50 gallon drum. It will spring back to a larger diameter, which is just you will want. There is no point in soldering the ends together. Just stick something in both ends, even a whittled down piece of wood that could be wedged in. Better yet, with a pipe bender you could bend the ends the other way so they would connect to a bracket attached to the wall. Bob
