Cob: RE: acquiring clayPatrick Newberry PNewberry at HFHI.orgTue Nov 13 12:18:31 PST 2001
This seems to be a recent frequent question. I'm surrounded by sand, but then I'm not far from Georgia clay either, but I'd call around. I get clay for about $50 a small dump truck load. Maybe about 4 or 5 tons. pat http://www.gnat.net/~goshawk -----Original Message----- From: David Knowlton [mailto:pilot1ab80 at hotmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 13, 2001 2:49 PM To: coblist at deatech.com Subject: Cob: acquiring clay Hi gang, How does someone living on and surrounded by sand acquire clay in bulk and affordably? I want to build a barbecue and a summer house for my cat to practice with the material.
