Cob: $500 ??#$"#$!

I have both a small trailer and an old school bus. 
The school bus has a cob fire place in it. 
They are now guest bedrooms!

Not living where you need to build is a fairly common problem. I'm
retired,
but too far to be driving back and forth every day. What do people do to
get some kind of shelter so they can live on site while building?
