The opportunity for a progressive change in Tennessee has
never been better!

Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 7 PM the Mid Tennessee Green Party will be
hosting a presentation by Ed Sanders, an independent candidate for Governor
at their regular monthly meeting.
The meeting is at the Nashville Peace and Justice Center, 1016 18th
Avenue South.

Ed is by far the most progressive candidate in the race and the Greens
would like everyone to come meet him and see for yourself. Ed is
an African American who has been involved with the issues of his community
for many years, has strong support here and in Memphis. He opposes
the death penalty, supports universal health care, progressive tax reform
and perhaps most importantly would open the governor's office to access
by the common people of Tennessee. It is important to his campaign
that we fill the room so come on out and meet the man who could very well
be the most progressive and articulate governor the State of Tennessee
has ever known.

P.S If you are going to the Education Rally at Legislative Plaza come
to the meeting afterwards. Ed will be at the rally also but will
be at the Green Party meeting by 7:30.
