Hello Charmaine,
Good to here back from you. We have been a bit tied up with a new baby girl.
All is well and everyone is happy.

I have been importing the sprayers for a couple of years from Mexico. I
bought the first one about 3 years ago and used it to spray a thin shell of
mortar on my room sized balloon forms. I loved everything except the price.
I paid $600 for the first one because I couldn't find it anywhere else. It
changed my life for air formed structures.

This is the only tool that allows
the normal guy to do small scale shotcreteing without buying a concrete pump
and large equipment. I decided that my small part to contribute to the
alternative building community would be to import the sprayers and sell them
at an affordable price. That way more people could have such a useful tool
and everyone will benefit. I have been selling the sprayers for $220 with
shipping in the US.
They weight about 8 pounds empty.
I do plan on making the website better. A friend helped put it up and I see
that it does need help. I also have a similar model with reshaped handle and
hopper that is designed to spray up to ceilings.

Clay would be fun to try. I know that many people have been using them for
spraying the lime coat on straw bales. I use them with sand and cement.

One of the features that works great is the 4 spray holes instead of 1. That
allows a person to spray a foot wide pattern.
This may not be the best tool to rent. There are 4 small air jets that must
be cleaned with an included cleaning rod. If a person takes good care of
their tools this is no problem. I'm not sure that a renter would pay enough
attention to that detail.

My hope is that as more people are using these, they will share what they
have learned so that others can follow and learn.

All my best,

Nolan Scheid
