  Sorry, somehow I made a mistake that changed the entire meaning of the 
sentence.

This is to correct that.
Sentence to correct:
" I use the good molds for fermenting foods and it will dry out and go 
into a spore like state,
-----here is the mistake --->   it would flourish and multiply in that 
state.

----- should've been      --->  in which it can't flourish or multiply.

Sorry for any confusion.
