[Cob] can bamboo be used as wiring conduit ?Amanda Peck ap615 at hotmail.comFri Feb 13 09:00:21 CST 2004
Blue tubing doesn't burn? (I don't know if it does or not--the time we needed very flexible cable, we used the armored stuff, real easy to work with, came with the wires already installed.) I think that they sometimes knock or burn out the joins between sections and use bamboo for water pipe. What kind of bamboo were you thinking about? It would be nice to have a use for native cane, which can be a pest. (for overseas lurkers--less than three meters high, less than three centemeters across). ............ Phil Hawn: I would think that there would be too great a risk of fire. Even buried in a cob wall it wouldn't be pleasant. Mike Swink: can bamboo be used as wiring conduit _________________________________________________________________ Check out the great features of the new MSN 9 Dial-up, with the MSN Dial-up Accelerator. http://click.atdmt.com/AVE/go/onm00200361ave/direct/01/
