Blue tubing doesn't burn? (I don't know if it does or not--the time we
needed very flexible cable, we used the armored stuff, real easy to work
with, came with the wires already installed.)

I think that they sometimes knock or burn out the joins between sections
and use bamboo for water pipe.

What kind of bamboo were you thinking about? It would be nice to have a use
for native cane, which can be a pest. (for overseas lurkers--less than three
meters high, less than three centemeters across).

I would think that there would be too great a risk of fire. Even buried in a
cob wall it wouldn't be pleasant.
