[Cob] Cheap Land with no building restrictions

I am selling it because we really don't plan to do anything with it.
I have land out here about 5 miles from the 40 acres, and yes, I do
live here full time.

Those pictures are taken from inside the property line of this 40
acres. I took every single photo myself. Thank you for the
comparison to commercial shots of the Big Bend Area. That is quite a
compliment.

It is 25 miles from the property to Study Butte, popultation about
300-500. Terlingua, which is 30 miles away, has another 500 or so.
Alpine, which is 50 miles away, has about 3,500.

Most people work via the internet, like I do (I am a web designer) or
in town, or where ever. There are not too many ranchers in this
area, as most of the land parcels are 40 or 20 acres tracts.

I grow a garden and feed my family. What do you do? We catch the
rain water, power ourselves using the sun and the wind, we have built
our own homestead, and we are quite happy, Thanks. There are many
people out ehre like us, and many on the grid as well. The nice
thing about out here is that you can do anything you want (pretty
much, as long as you are not hurting anyone else).

Why are you selling it and how much are you keeping? Do you live
there full time? Are the pictures ones you actually took from, say,
the center of the land? Or are they renditions/ commercial shots of
Big Bend and the surrounding area?

You say "the folks around you". How many of them are there and how
close and what are their occupations? Ranchers? How do
alternative /cob folk survive out there? I read that its 200 miles
to the nearest city. Is everyone just a trust-fund baby hoping
global warming will bring some water and agricultural potential their
way within their lifetimes?
