Dear Folks,
A wonderful plastering workshop will be led by Cedar Rose Geulberth,
Co-author of the "Natural Plaster Book" this September in Michigan. The
setting is a lovely wooded rural land at the Strawbale Studio, a uniquely
sculptural thatched roof building ~ featured in "The Beauty of Strawbale
Homes" by the Steens. Cedar Rose has been in the field of healthy homes,
natural building/design and natural plastering for 25 years. I will be
assisting Cedar Rose in the workshop ~ and have a background as an art &
sustainability teacher, co-designer/builder of the Strawbale Studio Project,
and illustrator of "The Natural Plaster Book", the "Cobbers' Companion" and
the "Hand-Sculpted House" book. It will be a fun and informative time for
learning about and testing out natural plasters and finishes, as well as
meeting good people.
