I can really recommend Elke Cole of http://www.cobworks.com Elke is an architect. I have seen some of the houses she has designed & cobbed, attended workshops, learnt tons (also straw bale) and felt confident enough to go off and build my own little abode. Lots of teaching and explanations. Evenings were spent discussing and learning. Ginny in cold Manitoba
