[Cob] cob bathtub

  I was just thinking about that again last night and about firing the c lay 
. . .  i wonder if filling the bathtub with hot coals from a fire and 
cleaning them out after it cools would make a difference . .  or even 
building a fire in the bathtub before you coat it with any type of finish to 
help harden it . . .  ofcourse this would be before i put a roof on my house
