[Cob] Need info for my chicken coop in Portland, OR

I have read a few cob books (some twice), read many of this list's posts,
and have some suggestions from a builder who is not interested in helping
any further on this project. I have a brain that has trouble remembering
info so I keep notes. I can't seem to scale down the plans in the cob books
I have seen for my smaller building. But here is what I have planned.
A 5 x 5 henhouse for 12 hens (yes, I know about the permit) that will stand
about 8 feet tall and be smaller at the top. I imagine a kind of A shape.
Also I wish to use salvaged windows, built in hen roosts/cubby holes, a door
large enough to get in and sweep/hose out inside, possibly a living roof.

So far all I have collected is the rock for rubble trench like foundation,
and the large flat stones for the next layer. I plan to make odd small
shelf or two and small built in bench for outside and to mosaic the
surface. I was told to get 2 yards of granular, sharpish sand. I am at the
collecting materials stage but need to figure out a couple things first:

1. What amounts of clay and is a cemetary really a good place to get this?

2. What amounts of straw and where closest to NE 42nd in Portland (I use
Flexcar and bus)?

3. Where do you get free or cheap roundwood timbers?

4. Is there a cob chickenhouse builder who would be able to keep me going
with input by email?

5. How high do you pile the flat stones? (I read about making the chicken
coop 3 feet instead of 1 at the base. Is this applied to the large flat
stones? )

THanks so much.
