Bale cob is an integrated wall system using an interior cob layer and 
an exterior straw bale layer which uses a cob mortar around the interior 
and exterior edges of the bales.  More detailed information on it is 
available in a couple articles published in "The Cob Web" issue #19, 
spring 2005.
