[Cob] Eyebrow window with living roof...

Every doodle I draw of my "dream-house" has for a long time had a few
eyebrow windows perched up on the roof... This was fine when my idea was to
do a thatch roof, but I've lately come to the realization that thatching
might be too difficult for me.

So my second choice was a living roof. Should I give up the eyebrow window?

thinking about. Of course I don't have any idea how the copper bits would
connect to the rubber membrane (shown as the dark tranparent layer...yes, I
know it wouldn't be transparent)

is this a Very Bad Idea (TM) or would something like this be doable?
