    I have effectively used both composite decking and vinyl trim for curvelinnear roofs.  Be sure to find the composite trim boards that are 3/4 inch. thick.  Pouring boiling water over the "board" to soften it allows very tight bends.  Azek brand vinyl trim boards are also about 3/4 thick and more flexible than the composite materials.  1x8 boards have provided me with enough width for screwing into rafters and still stick up several inches above the roof as a soil dam.
