[Cob] Q: Anyone know of cob or straw bale building around Ithica, NY?

Hi All,
I'm lookinng for a piece of land around Ithica, NY to buy so I can put up a
few small cob or straw bale cottages. First of all, does anyone know of
anyone doing this in that area? I'm curious about zoning laws there
regarding earth-based buildings. Also, I'm looking for opinions on anyone
familiar with the area on which type of building material might be best for
that region.
