[Cob] Plastering over plywood?

Sure Rodger, you just need something for the plaster to key into,
usually a metal or plastic mesh.

For plywood, metal mesh might be the better option.

Be careful though, the metal is known as "blood lath" for a reason!

You will probably get cracks due to differential thermal expansion where
the plywood meets another surface and you're plastering over both in one
swoop.
