[Cob] dusty cob floor

Hi all

Any ideas for what can be done to make a cob floor less dusty?
The one in our cabin was laid last summer (2007) and treated with 7
coats of linseed oil with turpentine thinner.
It still produces dust! It's turned us right off cob floors for our main
house, which is now under construction. (What kind of floor we'll use as
an alternative, I'm still not sure).
Anything that can be done, except try putting down some more linseed oil?

Thanks!

Robert

PS. Photos of the cabin and the main house (Abrazo House) are on our new
website at www.abrazohouse.org/gallery2. The website, also, is still
under construction!
