[Cob] Cob and rocks

have read quite a bit on the problems with differential expansion and contraction which may cause significant separation and cracking. However, at the same time there are also many references to using rocks as part of the cob structure (not including the foundation).

Although there is a pleasing effect to seeing the rock as part of a wall, it seems to me that over time the cob would "shrink-away" from any rock embedded in it, causing some separation, which in turn would loosen the rocks.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Saludos.
