[Cob] Cob barns in Bulgaria

Dear Coblist,

Some of these photos were in the Cobweb so apologies for those people who have seen those photos before. Bulgarians build with adobe and then use cob for the mortar and plaster. Since I had a huge amount of adobe that is what I used too but the sculptural work is done with cob and the last plaster with something that is called White Soil here. It feels like porcelain and it lasts forever. I have re-used 100 year old plaster that I removed from the walls and bagged up and then mixed with water as I need it. A cobbers delight!
