What about coating the walls in the same way floors can be done,
with multiple coats of linseed oil and two final coats of beeswax?

Could the walls still "breathe"?

Hi there

We have built a cob bath house (with a wood-heated tub, a la Becky
Bee) and now face the problem of figuring out how to USE the bath
tub without getting cob wet and mud everywhere. Can someone
suggest a way to plaster this or tile it appropriately? Can I lay
tile right on cob in a waterproof way?

Any ideas welcome.
