[Cob] Scenes in movies... building materials

I watched 'In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale.

The houses look as if built with cob yet are thin walled (papercrete?)  - and some have decorative sculpting to the outside.    (you have to pay close attention).

In the scene where the villian 'King of the Krog' or by name Gallian is sword fighting in the library... the 'shelves' look to be of cob also but far too thin (as a plank 'covered' with a thin layer of cob) and the walls are cob too.

Many more scenes with cob like structures most with thatched roofs but not in the typical English or Irish manner.

I think it's a papercrete tinted a brownish grey...

Sorry to bring up papercrete on a cob list...but if you see the movie you'll be on the fence with this too!
