[Cob] Garden Wall

Hi Leslie,

The way the shed roof is going on my house is with logs laid in the
center of the tops of the walls. They will be drilled and about two feet
below, embedded in the cob is the bent beginning of a #4 rebar. It goes
up through the drill hole and is bent over, securing the log to the cob.
The roof is then secured to the logs.
Hope this helps.

Since our yard isn't that large (we are basically in a fairly urban area), we are having soil brought in (clean fill). Anyone have suggestions on navigating the clay content of clean fill? If it doesn't have enough, I guess we will just go out looking for clay to bring in and mix. Thoughts?
