[Cob] learning

Hi Folks,
 
     Like this poster I started my  thinking of building  ' outside the box '   with earthbags.  But decided I was going to leave myself open to all the ideas.   As  such I have been searching out other building style lists.
     As it stands right now  my forest home seems to be headed toward being a bit of them all....earthbags, cob, cord wood, and a few walls of glass bottles and plaster.   And a post on  ' flying concrete '  on the earthbag  list now has pricked an interest in that also.
     I figure I am down to one year of research before the building really starts.  So, if any of you are on other building style lists, please send me the addy ...off board of course.   Figure it never hurts to learn things, even if you end up not using them.

    You do realize you're on a "cob" list, right? If you're not going to  
have the clay trucked up from the river, then go to an earthbag list  
or a general alternative building list. We're cob!

Now Damon, that's pretty rotten. This guy is interested in alternative 
building and may yet change his mind. He may learn enough from us to 
build something else with cob as well. Get off your high horse and
