If you want to avoid the toxic solvents and heavy metals in linseed
oil, the folks at Land Ark (Kiko's neighbors) in Blodgett, Oregon
have created natural finishing oils, citrus solvent and other natural
finishes. http://www.landarknw.com

Here's a page describing the use of their finishing oil on earthen
floors: http://www.landarknw.com/Earthen%20Floors.html
