Hi All,

British Columbia (Canada) Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA) put on a webinar today about Gord Anne Baird 2100 sf cob house built near Victoria, BC. The couple with their 2 children and her parents live in it but it took them 20 months to build it. On their web site and blog they provide extensive information on the materials, their process and extensive monitoring data. Their web site is http://www.islandnet.com/~anngord/ , photos (earliest ones at the bottom) http://www.flickr.com/photos/eco-sense/page7/ , and blog http://ecosenseliving.wordpress.com/ . They also outline what they had to meet the building code as well as papers to documents for alternatives to standard construction techniques.

The webinar is or will soon be on the BCSEA web site from this page. http://www.bcsea.org/learn/educational-opportunities/past-teleworkshops

Sincerely yours,
Frank Hanlan

If you have not demonstrated that you can hear the true state of the world and still act then don't expect to be told the truth.

Inspite of the agreement in Cancun, Mexico we have still a great amount of work to do to ensure that global greenhouse
emissions have peaked and started down by the end of 2015 and to keep the average temperature rise under 2C to stop
widespread flooding and the displacement of 400 to 500 million people.
