[Cob] Garden wall workshop and introduction in Denmark

The Company Oeko-byg invites to workshops during the summer of 2011
 
When:
19.-22. may 2011
7.-10. july 2011
11.-14. august 2011

Starting thursdays at 9 am to sundays at 3 pm.
For four intense days we will be working with foundations, cob-building, clay- and lime-rendering and how to cover and protect the wall.
 
We are teaching the basics of the cob technique "with good boots and a hat". Clay- and lime renders - When to use what? You will learn how to construct foundations, how to build cobwalls, design and decorative details and much more.
 
In the workshops we are building a gardenwall to give shelter and warmth, but the techniques can be used to many other things.
 
Price pr. workshop: 2800 dkkr. including good organic food and tuition. Free camping and it is posible to rent a room on site.

Flemming Abrahamsson is an architect who has been building cob, compost toilets and rocketstoves for some 20 years. The company designs and builds passive solar houses and cob-houses. He has been involved either as architect or consultant in the four approved cob and hybridhouses that has been build to regulations in Denmark.
