Strawbale Studio is hosting a 2 week long Start-to-Finish Natural Building
Workshop, July 14-28th in Oxford, Michigan, USA.
Four expert instructors will lead and teach through the construction of a
small cottage: Christina Ott, Chris McClellan, Sarah Highland, and Deanne
Bednar.
Elements covered will include foundation, timber framing, cob and strawbale
wall systems, thatching, design
& a host of topics rarely covered in shorter workshops like building
department dealings, plumbing and electricity rough-ins,
windows and doors, budgeting, passive solar, thermal mass, site safety and
much more.
