[Cob] Free rent in exchange for finishing house

Dear cobbers,
I have a nice little cob cottage north of Topeka, Kansas, with a two-story
strawbale house next to it that needs to be finished. I do not have the
money to pay for labor; nor do I live in the cottage anymore. A
"rent-to-own" agreement fell through, which also meant that the strawbale
house did not get done, as agreed. I am now 70 years old and too tired to
do the work myself, although I can offer some instruction on how to finish
the house. It needs a stairway built to the balcony, the ceiling needs
insulation, it needs electrical wiring (I'm on solar), a fireplace, and an
entryway connecting it to the cob house, as well as a colored glass window
that will run all the way to the top. Last summer I hired local men to
help me finish the exterior plaster, but some interior plaster remains to
be done.

For seriously interested persons, I will pay for water and propane for the
duration of the building process, and the electricity is free, so all you
have to pay for would be your personal expenses.

For more detailed information about the building as it got to this point,
including lots of pictures, I have recently published an ebook which you
can download for $2.99 at this link: www.smashwords.com/books/view/317540.
You may contact me at 785-246-0860 if you are interested. Thanks!
