Florida members?

Yup, we live between Vero Beach and Melbourne, but are total newbies
at cob construction. 

We're in the planning stage of building a new home and a barn, but
don't know yet which way to go. Hope to learn something from this 
forum :-). I think the soil here would be ideal for cob. We've just
had our pond excavated (sp?) -- a lot of clay and sand.
