I was able to mix an automobile-size pile of cob in less than four hours using a bobcat. I just spun around and around on the material in the street (I live on a quieter street). I feel that the weight of the machine and the opposite rotation of the wheels makes for the perfect action to GRIND the cob to wrap the clay around every grain of sand. Robert Bolman
