Cob verify?

Cob has a mediocre insulation value, but extraordinairy thermal mass.
In practice, what that means is that while cob does lose heat, it does
so slowly. So you end up with a fairly temperature-stable home. If you
have a fireplace, you should be in pretty good shape.

If you want even better results, you might consider a cob-strawbale
hybrid. Put strawbale on the N, E, & W walls, with Cob on the southern
& interior walls for thermal mass. The general feedback is that this
works well.
