tossing out an idea for bathrooms / showers in adobe / cob houses:

why not construct enough lathing to screw corregated tin to, being sure that
ALL 'splash' or wet areas would be included -- galvanized 'tin' will last a
LONG time and makes for a nice, 'rustic' looking shower surround

i know, because my best friend 'tinned' rather than tiled the bathtub /
shower area in HER l00-year old ranch house down here !!!  rest of house IS
adobe, also around a century old.
