Cob: workshop announcement

The Strawbale house continues...
Join in Saturday May 12 and Sunday May 13 , when participants of this weekend workshop are learning to mix and apply earthen plasters on the strawbale walls which were erected in a recent workshop. This is hands-on learning using clay, sand and fiber. We will finish preparing the walls and look at important detailing as well as discuss the next steps. Workshop leader Elke Cole brings experience and inspiration to this event, which also includes a visit to another natural house on Denman Island. The cost for the weekend is $75 including lunch, on site camping free.
