Cob: cast earth countertops??

the natural home magazine did an article highlighting
a technique called cast earth. the material used was
cob-like but was poured like concrete. unfortunately,
i can't find the issue that the article was in because
the name of the company was referenced. anyway, cast
earth counter tops might be a more green option than
concrete, and maybe more feasible than cob a sealent
would still be neccessary.
