Cob: strawbale/cob on the inside

Please take a look, and let us know what you find. In particular, I wonder
how the cob's holding up close to the foundation, where it would be more
subject to "splashback" during rain or snow-melt.

One positive point for me is that there is a cob church that was built in
the early 1800's just down the road from a potential building site I've
selected. I'll have to go over and see it one of these days to see how it
has with stood the test of time.
