Cob: western PA questions

Hi Beth- Misha & Elishiva built a 2 story cob house here in the Sierra
foothills of N CA, with a loft on the second "floor" - you can view
photos at:  they used tiny Swedish style steps which are half
widesteps-one for each foot, but half as wide so space is saved- and you
have to pay attention to walk up them!

they use driftwood for window lintels, recycled glass etc, a snow warped
tree trunk was the main roof beam.

Also Mark in OH may be close enough to you:  Mark does a lot of
teaching, and works with youth too on cob building.
