It makes a nice novel.  Or instruction book on how to do it.  Back in the 
summer I corresponded on the internet with a woman who had lived, with 
husband and a couple of kids, in a tipi somewhere up north--Really up north, 
like Southern Alaska maybe.  For a couple of years, until they built their 
house.  She said she was immensely grateful for all the comforts the house 
brought.  Including such things as phone and internet access.
