Meagan,
As for Canada - it's a "Dominion".
The title to all of Canada belongs to the Queen.
Dominion means the possession of a sovereign - Elizbeth II of England.
I was inviting a discussion about land and first principles of land
ownership,
which includes the possibility of original ways of owning/controlling land.
I was not complaining, simply stating facts. Really.
I seem to have pushed one of your buttons though.....

You asked for it. What is this request for a discussion about land? That
isn't a discussion. I thoroughly agree that land may has been ill-gotten in
the past and perhaps even controlled stupidly in the present but what do you
propose to create out of complaining about it?
A discussion could be a request to find land in a particular area, or new
and original ways of owning land or inexpensive ways of buying it, but
discussing the unfairness of legal land titles?
Really.
