Cob: Cob insulation idea

Oh, dear, it's too tempting to weigh in on this.  I tried, I really did, to 
stay out.

In one of Rob Roy's earlier books he mentioned that two German Shepherds 
kept his semi-underground (small?) cordwood house habitable for a week. I do 
hope they got run every once in a while.
