Hidare All,,, Merry Christmas...
Just had to say that.. ~¿~
I know we are not supposed to post pictures,,
so if anyone is interested in a Picture of a
very accurate homemade scale,, just send
your email address...
I weighed over 40 pounds of sand to within
one teaspoon.
It is a balance scale, so if you are going for
an absolute number of pounds, instead of
comparing relative weights, you will need to
come by some counter poise weights.
I just use rolls of pennies, 1983 or newer.
A roll of 1982 and older pennies weigh
one oz. more than a roll of 1983 and
newer...take a file to the edge of a newer
penny,,, they are not copper.
The cost of this scale is way less than $3.
And you no doubt have the stuff to make it.
So it is free= you don't have to spend more
money....
Oh,, and I cleaned up my work shop just to
take this picture,,,,, YEAH ,, RIGHT,,,,
with PhotoPaint..!!
And My Wife says I can't get anything done
sitting at the computer....
