Cob: First Shelter

 I have recently read some stories about getting started both here and on other sites. Some choose tents and or temp buildings - others go the mobile home route to provide shelter during the building process.

 These obviously work well and are adequate, but an old idea that Scandinavian folks use,  worked very well for my wife and I in the 70's while we built our log cabin.

 After the purchase of the property, the first structure was always the barn or the workshop. This provided immediate shelter, a place for the tools and critters if you have them. (segregation walls strongly advised! ) This also helps speed up the building process!

 If it is planned to fit your needs long term, you gain an immediate place to crash ON-SITE while building, followed by a workshop for your trade or home business to operate from once you occupy your Cobness Expression.
