I live in northeast Ohio and didn't know there were so many "cobbers"
around these parts. Wasn't sure a cob structure could survive our Ohio
climate. Especially now--where's El Nino and that warmer winter we were
promised?

I want to try and build a bread oven someday (starting small) to get a
feel for the cob craft.

Lurker who enjoys reading your posts!

"The beauty of nature does not really exist for some people. "What a pretty
flower" is just a mechanical mental labeling. They are not [really] still,
not present, they don't truly see the flower, feel its essence, its holiness.
We live in a mind-dominated culture. [Some] people who create modern art,
architecture, music, and literature cannot free themselves from the
mind...[cannot find that place] where true creativity and beauty arise. The
mind left to itself creates monstrosities, and not only in art galleries.
Look at our urban landscapes and industrial wastelands." Eckhart Tolle
