Cob: RE:cob in OHGrei Raven Shadow Walker greyraven_r at yahoo.comMon Jan 20 14:11:20 CST 2003
I'm actually not intending to build here, we planning on moving in the next few years (we're "debating" between Central Missouri and Western Oregon), but with two kids and work we need something close by to look at. I'm not concerned about heating, whatever method we use for the structure I plan on a combo of masonry stove and solar (active and passive) heating. I've been looking into using "breadbox" solar heaters for the heat source for a hydronic slab. --- Chuck & Linda <clearned at bminet.com> wrote: > > I sure wouldn't build with Cob in OH with a bunch of > insulation in there > somewhere. When I am gazed upon by the abyss I see the eyes of a mother, a lover, an old friend. When I look into the warm familiar eyes of the abyss I see that which needs me as much as I have need. I remember, I rejoice, I renew!" by Grei R. S. Walker, '01 __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
