Cob: RE: Re: Washing Machines, plus Living Smaller

Two thoughts:
Regarding the RV--would it be cobbed over?? or just hooked into the entire structure and roofed?
On the statement about RR cars, I new a wealthy couple who had an almond ranch north of Sacremento and they took three sea trains (? name- rectangle steel shippers that go in the cargo pit of ships and then are craned out and placed on the trailers of semi-[trucks for overland hauling) and made their living quarters.
I can see that a trailer home would be too weak for the load bearing requirements of cob, but what about a rr car or sea train?
Unless free, they would still cost more than cob, in most cases.

Cat here, This innovative integration I want to see!!?

How bout if you put it under a pole type thatch roof with a projecting canvass walk way so you could still move the RV ?? A guy in CA took an old RR box car and made a very appealing home, even got it past the city planners and the building department!

I guess anything works with the right amount of effort and imagination..................but I'm having some difficulty seeing this cob/rv hybrid?? It's all good for the good of all Cat
